The grape variety used in the production of raki has been cultivated for generations by all the families of the Kallmet area and surrounding villages, both for family consumption and for the market. This raki is produced with distilleries using the traditional method and the alcoholic strength, depending on the year of production, varies from 45–50% Vol.
